It’s been a little while since I last posted anything about beauty and makeup. So I thought I’ll talk about the things I have been loving recently. Although trying out new things is fun and exciting, I have come to a point where I’m using these things almost every single day.
I actually got this perfume two years ago, on my 18th birthday. The sent is quite unique, it is neither to fruity or too flowery. It is kind of in between. I’m not a big perfume junkie but when I find one that I like, I stick to it. This perfume is the Flowerbomb by Viktor Rolf. Fun fact about it, after you finish the bottle, you may go back to the store and they will refill it for you.
The next item is a moisturizer. This is by the brand Boscia and it has a gel formula. When you first apply it on your skin, it’s black. However, when you start rubbing the product in your skin, it sinks in perfectly and give a beautiful glow. This product is perfect for people with sensitive, dry and problematic skin.
This highlighter is from Colourpop. You do not need to dip you brush multiple times in order to obtain results. When you put it on your skin, it kind of has a pearl/silver undertone to it. It stays on your skin all day, it does not budge.
Back in September, I had bought this hair protector from Bumble and bumble. It has a very nice smell which I can’t get enough of. I spray this in my hair and then I brush the product all through my hair. It protects your hair from all types of heating tools and it does not damage it.
This product has been my ultimate favorite, these past few months. The way I like to use it is, I take a stippling brush and swirl the brush around this contour stick. I then blend the product on skin where the sun naturally hits the skin. It gives the perfect glow and it looks very natural.
This past year, everywhere I go I would see liquid lipsticks. The first ever liquid lipstick that I tried was from Kat von d in the shade Bow’n Arrow. I instantly fell in love with it. It wasn’t too drying and it stayed on all day. Then the whole Kylie Jenner liquid lipstick came and I thought why not give it a try, which I also quite liked. I then discovered that Colourpop and Kylie Jenner use the same manufacturer which means that the packaging style is the same and the lipsticks formula is the same. Colourpop has one of the nicest liquid lipsticks out there, the have all types of colours and their formulas aren’t too drying. It also does not crack at the end of the day.
Finally, the product I also have been loving recently is this eyeshadow palette from Zoeva. Zoeva has to be one of my favourite makeup brand out there. This eyeshadow palette is so creamy and the shades are very bendable. There isn’t one shade that I do not use in this palette. You can wear these shadows differently. You can wear a neutral everyday look like you can a wear very dark smokey eye.
